The app (with the physical tracker) provide them with accurate, actionable performance data. As designers we are strong believers in the importance of statistical analysis to help players progress, set goals and motivate themselves to hit milestones.

We've completely redesigned their core experience allowing them to follow their performance routinely in training and in matches.

We led the vision for profile stats - Based on user insights from discovery and testing phases we prioritized what matters the most in the app UI (kilometers, speed, passes, shots, shooting power).

On the player-facing experience, we defined a new set of features for users to set up specific objectives and get smart visualizations.

Footbar users can get access to exhaustive overviews of their performances, so it made sense to get them to share it with friends.

Bragging is a key aspect of sport as players love to compare performances, share memories of a joint session and comment on each others milestones.

We also had the great opportunity to launch a standalone app named "Footbar League" over the summer 2024.

This MVP allows players to join teams and earn points on the quest to be at the top of the leaderboard. We designed engaging features like challenges, reminders, boosts to encourage repeat usage.

We thank the Footbar team for betting on us to redesign their core app alongside a completely new app.
