Going through the incredible journey of rebranding the Deezer app. We've worked back to back with their team on expanding this new visual language with extensive product explorations - pushing further the experience design.

Diverging to uncover a new path
We aimed to bring a sense of liveliness building on the new brand shapes through dynamic motion and visual design. In this fresh product direction Deezer elevates the app experience to new heights, connecting people to the music in their own way

Going wild, then going wise
This exploration work goes beyond the ordinary interface design. We took the time to craft combinations of colorful, dynamic and slightly quirky design to embody the brand values. Shapes gimmicks, new icons, micro-animation, accent colors - nothing was left untouched.

Finding balance, connecting through beats and colors
Ideas making it to the finish line for such a popular service is never easy. The UI proposals that sticked were the ones balancing a sleek aspect and intuitive focus (for an app used by a broad user base) while unleashing the brand concepts within key features.
So the Deezer app reinforces its perception as an unique and global service to experience music.

Shiping an app used by millions of users worlwide
We supported the Deezer team in refining and streamlining the design on many parts (web landings, TV, app..) of the Deezer experience to prepare for the hand-off and integration.
Shoot out to their team for the final launch preparation phase, we're glad we could add our touch to this huge rebranding project.

Identify emerging artists needs
We had the opportunity to run a discovery initiative on the topic of emerging artists. The goal was to identify the critical pain points in their constant effort of "trying to make it" and identify the most promising opportunities for Deezer.
25+ user interviews were conducted and 60+ actionable insights were shared to empower strategic discussions.
