OnlyDust is the first platform where developers can discover open-source projects to contribute to and earn rewards.
We have collaborated with them on a long-term basis, building from the ground up a product branding, shaping new features and enhancing existing ones. Key milestones include the revamp of the contributor profile and the creation of the new ecosystem page from scratch.
We began our journey with Onlydust by establishing the foundation of the platform's look and feel. The underlying intention was to highlight the striking and vibrant brand colors, assets, and typography, making the experience both accessible and delightful for users.
Our goal was to elevate existing profiles to a new level, ensuring that every contributor can fully showcase their skills and achievements, while also helping project leads identify promising talents to collaborate with.
OnlyDust is more than just a collection of individual projects; it’s a hub for creating connections and discovering entire ecosystems eager for contributors. We needed a dedicated page to showcase projects from an ecosystem, helping contributors find the right fit by filtering them by categories, programming languages, activity, and more.
We’ve upgraded the project management experience, enabling leads to better track new applicants, identify potentially blocked tasks, and manage the total budget and expenditures.
By streamlining the process for both project leads and contributors, we contributed to a 102% increase in the monthly growth of total rewards granted on OnlyDust. This growth surpasses the entire Q4 2023 in just one month.
